back-up destination
Configure the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the management interface on the remote VLT peer used as the VLT backup link endpoint for
sending out-of-band (OOB) hello messages.
Syntax
back-up destination {[ipv4–address] | [ipv6 ipv6–address] [interval seconds]
vrf [management vrf-name | vrf-name]}
Parameters
ipv4–address
Enter the IPv4 address of the backup destination.
ipv6 Enter the keyword ipv6 then an IPv6 address in the X:X:X:X::X format.
interval
seconds
Enter the keyword interval to specify the time interval to send hello messages. The
range is from 1 to 5 seconds. The default is 1 second.
vrf
management
vrf-name
(OPTIONAL) Configures the management VRF instance for the backup IPv4 or IPv6
address.
vrf
vrf-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf and then the name of the VRF.
Defaults 1 second
