High Availability (HA)
High availability (HA) in the Dell EMC Networking OS is the configuration synchronization to minimize recovery time in the event of a
route processor module (RPM) failure.
In general, a protocol is defined as “hitless” in the context of an RPM failure/failover and not failures of a line card, SFM, or power module.
A protocol is defined as hitless if an RPM failover has no impact on the protocol.
You must specifically enable some protocols for HA. Some protocols are only hitless if related protocols are also enabled as hitless (for
example, using the redundancy protocol command).

Prevent the system from auto-rebooting the failed module.
Syntax
redundancy disable-auto-reboot stack-unit [stack—unit ID| members} [rpm| card
number | all]
To return to the default, use the no redundancy disable-auto-reboot stack-unit rpm command.
Parameters
rpm Enter the keyword rpm to disable auto-reboot of the failed RPM.
stack-unit Enter the keyword stack-unit then the stack-unit ID number.
Default Disabled — the failed module is automatically rebooted.
