dot1x port-control
Controls the 802.1X authentication performed on the interface.
Syntax
dot1x port-control {force-authorized | force-unauthorized | auto}
Parameters
force-authorized Disables 802.1X authentication on the interface and allows all traffic on the
interface without authentication.
force-unauthorized Keeps the port in the unauthorized state, ignoring all attempts by the
client to authenticate.
auto Enables 802.1X authentication on the interface.

Sets the number of seconds that the device remains in the quiet state following a failed authentication exchange with a
supplicant.
Syntax
dot1x timeout quiet-period seconds
Parameters quiet period seconds Enter the number of seconds for the 802.1X quiet period timeout, from 1
to 65535.
