Parameters
• * — Enter to clear all BGP sessions.
• vrf vrf-name — (OPTIONAL) Enter the vrf then the name of the VRF to clear BGP session information
corresponding to that VRF.
• ipv4 unicast — Enter to clear IPv4 unicast conguration.
• ipv6 unicast — Enter to clear IPv6 unicast conguration.
• soft — (Optional) Enter to congure and activate policies without resetting the BGP TCP session — BGP
soft reconguration.
• in — (Optional) Enter to activate only ingress (inbound) policies.
• out — (Optional) Enter to activate only egress (outbound) policies.

clear ip bgp dampening
Clears the path information of the dampened and undampened prexes.
Syntax
clear ip bgp dampening [vrf vrf-name] [ipv4–prefix | ipv6–prefix]
Parameters
• vrf vrf-name — (OPTIONAL) Enter vrf then the name of the VRF to clear dampened paths information.
• ipv4–prefix — (Optional) Enter an IPv4 prex of the dampened path.
• ipv6–prefix — (Optional) Enter an IPv6 prex of the dampened path.

clear ip bgp ap-statistics
Clears all or specic IPv4 or IPv6 ap counts of prexes.
Syntax
clear ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [ipv4–address | ipv6–address] flap-statistics
[ipv4–prefix | ipv6–prefix]
Parameters
• vrf vrf-name — (OPTIONAL) Enter vrf then the name of the VRF to clear ap statistics information.
• ipv4–address — (Optional) Enter an IPv4 address to clear the ap counts of the prexes learned from the
given peer.
• ipv6–address — (Optional) Enter an IPv6 address to clear the ap counts.
• ipv4–prefix — (Optional) Enter an IPv4 prex to clear the ap counts of the given prex.
