Interface tracking
You can create an object that tracks the line-protocol state of a Layer 2 interface, and monitors its operational status (Up or Down). You
can congure up to 500 objects. Each object is assigned a unique ID. The no version of this command deletes the tracked object from an
interface.
When the link-level status goes down, the tracked resource status is also considered Down. If the link-level status goes up, the tracked
resource status is also considered Up. For logical interfaces (port-channels or VLANs), the link-protocol status is considered to be Up if any
physical interface under the logical interface is Up.
The list of available interfaces include:
ethernet — Physical interface
port-channel — Port-channel identier
VLAN — VLAN identifer
