Usage
Information
If you do not enter the interface name, this command resets the error-disabled state of all interfaces
because FEFD is set to Aggressive mode.

Displays FEFD information globally or for a specific interface.
Syntax
show fefd [interface]

Information
The following table describes the fields in the show fefd command output:
Field Description
Interface Displays the interface name
Mode Displays the modeAggressive, Normal, or NA when the interface contains fefd
reset in its configuration.
Interval Displays the interval between FEFD packets.
State Displays the state of the interface and can be one of the following:
Bi-directionalInterface is up, connected, and receiving echoes of its neighbor.
Err-disabledOnly found when FEFD mode is Aggressive and when the
interface has not received three echoes of its neighbor. To reset an interface in
this state, use the fefd reset command.
UnknownShown when FEFD is enabled and changes to bi-directional
after successful handshake with the peer. Also shown if the peer goes down in
normal mode.
Locally disabledInterface contains the fefd reset command in its
configuration.
Admin ShutdownInterface is disabled using the shutdown command.
Line protocol is downThe state on the remote device when an interface of
the local device is disabled with the shutdown command.
