ip ospf transmit-delay
Sets the estimated time required to send a link state update packet on the interface.
Syntax
ip ospf transmit-delay seconds
Parameters seconds Set the time in seconds required to send a link-state update, from 1 to 3600.
Default 1 second

Information
When you set the ip ospf transmit-delay value, take into account the transmission and
propagation delays for the interface. The no version of this command resets the value to the default.

log-adjacency-changes
Enables logging of syslog messages regarding changes in the OSPF adjacency state.

The no version of this command resets the value to the default.

max-metric router-lsa
Configures OSPF to advertise a maximum metric on a router so that it is not desired as an intermediate hop from other routers.
Syntax
max-metric router-lsa
Parameters None
Default Not configured

Information
Routers in the network do not prefer other routers as the next intermediate hop after they calculate the
shortest path. The no version of this command disables the maximum metric advertisement configuration.
