Changes the maximum number of requests that the device sends to a supplicant before restarting 802.1X authentication.
Syntax
dot1x max-req retry-count
Parameters max-req retry-count — Enter the retry count for the request sent to the supplicant before
restarting 802.1X reauthentication, from 1 to 10.
Default 2

dot1x port-control
Controls the 802.1X authentication that is performed on the interface.
Syntax
dot1x port-control {force-authorized | force-unauthorized | auto}
Parameters
● force-authorized — Disables 802.1X authentication on the interface and allows all traffic on the
interface without authentication.
● force-unauthorized — Keeps the port in the unauthorized state, ignoring all attempts by the
client to authenticate.
● auto — Enables 802.1X authentication on the interface.
