Configures the priority2 attribute for advertising PTP clock.
Syntax
ptp priority2 priority-number
Parameters priority-numberPriority2 has the fifth precedence among the six attributes that are used in the
selection of the master clock. Enter a value from 0 to 255.

The lower the value of this attribute, the higher is the priority. The no form of this command removes the
configuration.

Configures the interface to operate in master, slave, or dynamic role.
Syntax
ptp role {dynamic | master | slave}
Parameters
masterEnables master role only on the interface
slaveEnables slave role only on the interface
dynamicEnables dynamic role on the interface. The interface can be a master or slave based on
the best master clock algorithm (BMCA).

If the configuration conflicts with unicast transport mode, this command returns an error. The no form of
this command removes the configuration.
