Create QoS policy for CoPP

Assign service-policy
Rate controlling the trac towards CPU requires conguring the control-plane type policy. To enable CoPP, apply the dened policy-map
to CONTROL-PLANE mode.
1 Enter CONTROL-PLANE mode from CONFIGURATION mode.

2 Dene aninput type service-policy and congure a name for the service policy in CONTROL-PLANE mode.

Assign control-plane service-policy

View control-plane service-policy

Service-policy (input): copp1
View conguration
Use show commands to display the protocol trac assigned to each control-plane queue and the current rate-limit applied to each queue.
Use the show command output to verify the CoPP conguration.
