• ip ip-address — (Optional) Specify the IP address of the ARP entry to clear.
• no-refresh — (Optional) Delete the ARP entry from CAM. You can also use this option with interface
or ip ip-address to specify which dynamic ARP entries to delete.

Usage Information Transit trac may not forward during the period when deleted ARP entries resolve again and re-install in CAM.
NOTE: Use this option with extreme caution.

clear ip route
Clears the specied routes from the IP routing table.
Syntax
clear ip route [vrf vrf-name] {* | A.B.C.D/mask}
Parameters
• vrf vrf-name — (Optional) Enter the keyword vrf and then the name of the VRF to clear the routes
corresponding to that VRF.
• *—Clear the entire IP routing table. This option refreshes all the routes in the routing table. Trac ow is
aected for all the routes in the switch.

A.B.C.D/mask —Specify the IP route to remove from the IP routing table. This option refreshes all the
routes in the routing table. Trac ow is aected only for the specied route in the switch.

Usage Information This command does not remove the static routes from the routing table.

Congure the IP address to an interface.
Syntax
ip address ip–address/mask
Parameters ip–address/mask — Enter the IP address.
Defaults None

Usage Information The no version of this command removes the IP address set for the interface.
