This command is applicable only for boundary clocks and for the ITU G.8275.1 profile. Use the local-
priority attribute to compare the local clock with the data on another potential grandmaster clock. The no
form of this command removes the configuration.

Configures the priority1 attribute for advertising the PTP clock.

ptp priority1 priority-number
Parameters priority-numberPriority1 has the highest precedence among the six attributes that are used in the
selection of the master clock. Enter a value from 0 to 255 for the system default profile. The G.8275.1
profile assigns a static value of 128 for this attribute.

The clock with the lowest priority1 value becomes the master clock. The lower the value of this attribute,
