3. Configure the SSM network option ( default is option-1 for Europe).

4. Enable SyncE on the interfaces that are connected to the clock sources and interfaces transmitting to the neighboring
SyncE node.

5. Enable ESMC mode on the interfaces that are connected to the clock sources and interfaces transmitting ESMC to the
neighboring SyncE nodes.

SwitchB(conf-if-eth1/1/1)# sync-e esmc rx-only
6. Configure PTP boundary clock on the switch.
SwitchB(config)# ptp clock boundary hybrid profile system-default
SwitchB(config)# interface ethernet 1/1/1

SwitchB(conf-if-eth1/1/1)# ptp transport layer2
SwitchB(conf-if-eth1/1/1)# ptp role slave
7. View the SyncE information.
