Undoing Commands
When you enter a command, the command line is added to the running conguration le (running-cong).
To disable a command and remove it from the running-cong, enter the no command, then the original command. For example, to
delete an IP address congured on an interface, use the
no ip address ip-address command.
NOTE: Use the help or ? command as described in Obtaining Help.
Example of Viewing Disabled Commands

Layer 2 protocols are disabled by default. To enable Layer 2 protocols, use the no disable command. For example, in PROTOCOL
SPANNING TREE mode, enter
no disable to enable Spanning Tree.
