command.

Syntax
router-id ip-address
To return to the previous router ID, use the no router-id ip-address command.
Parameters
ip-address
Enter the router ID in the dotted decimal format.
Defaults The router ID is selected automatically from the set of IPv4 addresses configured on a router.

Usage
Information
You can configure an arbitrary value in the IP address for each router. However, each router ID
must be unique.
If this command is used on an OSPFv3 process that is already active (has neighbors), all the
neighbor adjacencies are brought down immediately and new sessions are initiated with the
new router ID.
