Usage
Information
To assign traffic to different flows using QoS policy, use the Output Policy map. This command
enables Policy-Map-Output Configuration mode (conf-policy-map-out).

Syntax
qos-policy-input qos-policy-name [layer2]
To remove an existing input QoS policy from the router, use the no qos-policy-input
qos-policy-name [layer2] command.
Parameters
qos-policy-name
Enter the name for the policy map in character format (32 characters
maximum).
layer2 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword layer2 to specify a Layer 2 Class
Map. The default is
Layer 3.

To specify the name of the input QoS policy, use this command. After the input policy is
specified, rate-police is defined. This command enables Qos-Policy-Input Configuration mode
