snmp-server packetsize
Set the largest SNMP packet size permitted. Wen the SNMP server is receiving a request or generating a reply, use the
snmp-server packetsize global configuration command.

snmp-server packetsize byte-count
Parameters
byte-count
Enter one of the following values 8, 16, 24 or 32. Packet sizes are 8000
bytes, 16000 bytes, 32000 bytes, and 64000 bytes.

Configure a specific interface as the source for SNMP traffic.

Syntax
snmp-server trap-source interface
To disable sending traps out a specific interface, use the no snmp trap-source
command.
Parameters
interface
Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information:
• For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback
then a number from 0 to 16383.
• For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet then the
slot/port information.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
