Usage
Information
Prior to using this command, to place the interface in Layer 2 mode, execute the
switchport command.
To remove the trunk port designation, first remove the port (using the no member
interface command) from all stackable VLAN-enabled VLANs.
Starting with FTOS version 7.8.1.0, a VLAN-Stack trunk port is also allowed to be configured as
a tagged port and as an untagged port for single-tagged VLANs. When the VLAN-Stack trunk
port is also a member of an untagged VLAN, the port must be in Hybrid mode. Refer to
portmode hybrid.
In Example 1, a VLAN-Stack trunk port is configured and then also made part of a single-tagged
VLAN.
