hold-time
Specify a delay (in seconds) before a switch becomes the MASTER virtual router. By delaying the initialization of the 
VRRP MASTER, the new switch can stabilize its routing tables.

Syntax
hold-time seconds
To return to the default value, use the no hold-time command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter a number of seconds. The range is from 0 to 65535. The default 
is zero (0) seconds.
Defaults zero (0) seconds

Usage 
Information
If a switch is a MASTER and you change the hold timer, disable and re-enable VRRP for the 
new hold timer value to take effect.
