Usage
Information
To accept 4-byte formats before entering a 4 byte AS Number, configure your system. If the
number parameter is the same as the AS number used in the router bgp command, the
remote AS entry in the neighbor is considered an internal BGP peer entry.
This command creates a peer and the newly created peer is disabled (Shutdown).

Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} remove-private-as
To return to the default, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name}
remove-private-as command.
Parameters
ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor to remove the private AS
numbers.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to remove the private AS numbers.
Defaults Disabled (that is, private AS number are not removed).
