Usage 
Information
Although FTOS does not generate a route due to the backdoor config, there is an option for 
injecting/sourcing a local route in the presence of network backdoor config on a learned route.
redistribute
Redistribute routes into BGP.
S4820T
Syntax
redistribute {connected | static} [route-map map-name]
To disable redistribution, use the no redistribution {connected | static} 
command.
Parameters
connected Enter the keyword connected to redistribute routes from physically 
connected interfaces.
static
Enter the keyword static to redistribute manually configured 
routes.
These routes are treated as incomplete routes.
route-map 
map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map then the name of an 
established route map.
Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are supported:
• match ip address
• set community
• set local-preference
• set metric
• set next-hop
• set origin
• set weight
If the route map is not configured, the default is deny (to drop all 
routes).
