FIPS Cryptography

To configure federal information processing standards (FIPS) cryptography, use the following commands on the S4820T

platform.

fips mode enable

Enable the FIPS cryptography mode on the platform.

Syntax

[no] fips mode enable

To disable the FIPS cryptography mode, use the no fips mode enable command.

Default Disabled

WARNING: Enabling FIPS mode will close all SSH/Telnet

connection, restart those servers, and destroy all configured

host keys.
