Usage
Information
Untagged interfaces can only belong to one VLAN.
In the Default VLAN, you cannot use the no untagged interface command. To remove
an untagged interface from all VLANs, including the Default VLAN, enter INTERFACE mode and
use the no switchport command.

Far-End Failure Detection (FEFD)
The Dell Networking operating software (FTOS) supports far-end failure detection (FEFD) on the Ethernet interfaces of
the S4820T platform.
The FEFD feature detects and reports far-end link failures.
• FEFD is not supported on the Management interface.
• During an RPM failover, FEFD is operationally disabled for approximately 8 to 10 seconds.
• By default, FEFD is disabled.
