1002 | Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP)
www.dell.com | support.dell.com
The starting point for using LLDP is invoking LLDP with the protocol lldp command
in either the CONFIGURATION or INTERFACE mode.
The information distributed by LLDP is stored by its recipients in a standard
Management Information Base (MIB). The information can be accessed by a network
management system through a management protocol such as SNMP.
the Link Layer Discovery Protocol chapter of the FTOS Configuration Guide for
details on implementing LLDP/LLDP-MED.
