By default, all VLANs are mapped to MST instance zero (0) unless you use the vlan
range command to map it to a non-zero instance.

The name you assign to the Multiple Spanning Tree region.
Syntax

To remove the region name, enter
no name

For two MSTP switches to be within the same MSTP region, the switches must share
the same region name (including matching case).
