Information
The ip nd mtu command sets the value advertised to routers. It does not set the actual
MTU rate. For example, if
ip nd mtu is set to 1280, the interface will still pass
1500-byte packets.
The
mtu command sets the actual frame size passed, and can be larger than the
advertised MTU. If the mtu setting is larger than the ip nd mtu, an error message is
sent, but the configuration is accepted.
% Error: nd ra mtu is greater than link mtu, link mtu will be used.

Commands
ipv6 nd other-config-flag
e
Set the other stateful configuration flag in the IPv6 router advertisement. The
description of this flag from RFC 2461 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2461) is:
O: 1-bit “Other stateful configuration” flag. When set, hosts use the administered
(stateful) protocol for autoconfiguration of other (non-address) information. The use
of this flag is described in:
Thomson, S. and T. Narten, “IPv6 Address Autoconfiguration”, RFC 2462,
December 1998.
Syntax
ipv6 nd other-config-flag
To clear the flag from the IPv6 router advertisements, use the no ipv6 nd
other-config-flag
command.
Defaults
The default flag is 0.
Command Modes

ipv6 nd prefix
e
Configure how IPv6 prefixes are advertised in the IPv6 router advertisements. The
description of an IPv6 prefix from RFC 2461(http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2461) is a
bit string that consists of some number of initial bits of an address.
