appropriate ACLs can be applied in both ingress and egress direction.

Syntax
monitor session session-ID
To delete a session, use the
no monitor session session-ID command.
To delete all monitor sessions, use the
no monitor session all command.

Information
The monitor command is saved in the running configuration at the Monitor Session
mode level and can be restored after a chassis reload.
