• All dot1p traffic is mapped to Queue 0 unless service-class dynamic dot1p is
enabled on an interface or globally.
• Layer 2 or Layer 3 service policies supercede dot1p service classes.

Guarantee a minimum bandwidth to different queues globally using the command
service-class bandwidth-weight from CONFIGURATION mode. The command is applied in the
same way as the bandwidth-weight command in an output QoS policy. The
bandwidth-weight
command in QOS-POLICY-OUT mode super cedes the
service-class bandwidth-weight
command
.
show interfaces rate

Display information of either rate limiting or rate policing on the interface.

Enter the bandwidth-weight. The value must be a power of 2.
Range 1-1024.

interface (OPTIONAL) Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number
information:
• For a 100/1000 Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet
followed by the slot/port information.
• For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet
followed by the slot/port information.
• For a SONET interface, enter the keyword
sonet followed by the slot/port
information.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information.
limit
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword limit to view the outgoing traffic rate.
police
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword police to view the incoming traffic rate.
