Set the interface to send a specific version of RIP. The version you set on the interface
overrides the version command in the ROUTER RIP mode.
Syntax
ip rip send version [1] [2]
To return to the default value, enter
no ip rip send version.

To enable the interface to send both version of RIP packets, enter ip rip send version 1

Enable split-horizon for RIP data on the interface. As described in RFC 2453, the
split-horizon scheme prevents any routes learned over a specific interface to be sent
back out that interface.
Syntax
ip split-horizon
To disable split-horizon, enter no ip split-horizon.

ip rip receive version Sets the RIP version for the interface to receive traffic.
version Sets the RIP version to be used for the switch software.
