Information
Opening a telnet connection from the Standby RPM to an Active RPM follows the
authentication procedure configured in the chassis. However, opening a telnet
connection from the Active RPM into the Standby RPM requires local authentication.
Configuring an ACL on a VTY line will block a Telnet session using the
telnet-peer-rpm command in the standby to active RPM direction only. Such an ACL
will not block an internal Telnet session in the active RPM to standby RPM direction.
