Use this command to minimize the time required for the VLT system to determine the
unit ID assigned to each peer switch when one peer reboots.

vlt domain
Use this command to enable VLT on a switch, configure a VLT domain, enter
VLT-domain configuration mode, set a VLT port delay time, set VLT priorities and
configure a VLT peer link.

Information
The VLT domain ID must be the same between the two VLT devices. If the domain
ID is not the same, a syslog message is generated and VLT will not launch.
vlt domain peer-link
Use this command to configure a VLT peer link for a VLAN to indicate where the
VLT peer forwards packets from the VLTi in a peer failure scenario.

domain-id
Enter the Domain ID number. You must configure the same domain ID on the
peer switch. VLT uses the domain ID to automatically create a VLT MAC
address for the domain.
Range of domain IDs: 1 to 1000.

show vlt
Use the show vlt brief command to display the delay-restore value.
domain-id
