Information
When you use the log option, the CP processor logs details about the packets that
match. Depending on how many packets match the
log entry and at what rate, the CP
may become busy as it has to log these packets’ details.

When an access-list is created without any rule and then applied to an interface, ACL
behavior reflects implicit permit.
Use these commands to configure or enable IP prefix lists.
clear ip prefix-list

clear ip prefix-list

Reset the number of times traffic met the conditions (“hit” counters) of the
configured prefix lists.

Note: When ACL logging and byte counters are configured simultaneously, byte
counters may display an incorrect value. Configure packet counters with logging
instead.
deny Configure a filter to drop traffic.
permit Configure a filter to forward traffic.
prefix-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the configured prefix list to clear only counters
for that prefix list, up to 140 characters long.
