Clear BGP flap statistics, which includes number of flaps and the time of the last flap.
Syntax
clear ip bgp flap-statistics [ip-address mask | filter-list as-path-name | regexp
regular-expression]

If you enter clear ip bgp flap-statistics without any parameters, all statistics are
cleared.

ip-address mask
(OPTIONAL) Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format and the
prefix mask in slash format (/x) to reset only that prefix.
filter-list as-path-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword filter-list followed by the name of a
configured AS-PATH list.
regexp
regular-expression
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword regexp followed by regular
expressions. Use one or a combination of the following:
•
. = (period) any single character (including a white space)
•
* = (asterisk) the sequences in a pattern (0 or more sequences)
•
+ = (plus) the sequences in a pattern (1 or more sequences)
•
? = (question mark) sequences in a pattern (either 0 or 1 sequences).
You must enter an escape sequence (CTRL+v) prior to entering
the ? regular expression.
•
[ ] = (brackets) a range of single-character patterns.
•
( ) = (parenthesis) groups a series of pattern elements to a single
element
•
{ } = (braces) minimum and the maximum match count
•
^ = (caret) the beginning of the input string. If the caret is used at the
beginning of a sequence or range, it matches on everything BUT the
characters specified.
•
$ = (dollar sign) the end of the output string.
show debugging View enabled debugging operations.
show ip bgp flap-statistics View BGP flap statistics.
undebug all Disable all debugging operations.
