IPv6 BGP Commands
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is an external gateway protocol that transmits
interdomain routing information within and between Autonomous Systems (AS).
BGP version 4 (BGPv4) supports classless interdomain routing and the aggregation
of routes and AS paths. Basically, two routers (called neighbors or peers) exchange
information including full routing tables and periodically send messages to update
those routing tables.
The following commands allow you to configure and enable BGP.
• aggregate-address
• bgp always-compare-med
• bgp bestpath as-path ignore
• bgp bestpath med confed
• bgp bestpath med missing-as-best
• bgp client-to-client reflection
• bgp cluster-id
• bgp confederation identifier
• bgp confederation peers
• bgp dampening
• bgp default local-preference
