Layer 2

Overview

This chapter describes commands to configure Layer 2 features. It contains the

following sections:

• MAC Addressing Commands

• Virtual LAN (VLAN) Commands

• Far-End Failure Detection (FEFD)

Some MAC addressing commands are supported only on the E-Series, some on all

three Dell Force10 platforms, and some on two Dell Force10 platforms.

The VLAN commands are supported on the Dell Force10 platforms as indicated by

the characters that appear under each of the command headings:
