Usage
Information
Use this command to make the FTP clients VRF aware. The VRF name that you
specify is used by the FTP client to reach the FTP server. If no VRF is specified, then
the default vrf is used.
ip ftp source-interface
Specify an interface’s IP address as the source IP address for FTP connections.

Syntax
ip ftp source-interface interface
To delete an interface, use the no ip ftp source-interface interface
command.
Parameters
interface Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number
information:
• For Loopback interfaces, enter the keyword loopback
then a number from zero (0) to 16383.
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-
channel then a number. The range is from 1 to 128.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
• For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a
number from 1 to 4094.
• For a tunnel interface, enter the keyword tunnel.
Defaults The IP address on the system that is closest to the Telnet address is used in the
outgoing packets.
