Parameters
method-list-
name
Enter the keywords method-list-name to specify that method list, created in
the aaa authentication login command, to be applied to the designated
terminal line.
default Enter the keyword default to specify that the default method list, created in the
aaa authentication login command, is applied to the terminal line.
Defaults No authentication is performed on the console lines. Local authentication is performed on the virtual
terminal and auxiliary lines.

Usage
Information
If you configure the aaa authentication login default command, the login authentication default command
automatically is applied to all terminal lines.
When configuring authentication, consider the following:
● If you configure the default authentication list using the default keyword, the list applies it to all the
local and remote connections globally, unless you have specified some another authentication list for a
specific connection.
● If you configure an authentication lists other than default, you must apply those authentication lists to
each connection.
● If you configure the aaa authentication login default command, the login
authentication default command automatically is applied to all terminal lines.
