To remove all neighbor entries learned on a specific 
interface, enter the keyword interface then the interface 
type and slot/port or number information of the interface:
• For a Fast Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
fastEthernet then the slot/port information.
• • For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel
 then a number.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
• For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then the VLAN ID. 
The range is from 1 to 4094.

Configure a static entry in the IPv6 neighbor discovery.

Syntax
ipv6 neighbor {ipv6-address} {interface interface} 
{hardware_address}
To remove a static IPv6 entry from the IPv6 neighbor discovery, use the no ipv6 
neighbor {
ipv6-address} {interface interface} command.
Parameters
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address of the neighbor in the x:x:x:x::x 
format.
NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal 
fields of zero.
