interface group
Create or delete group of VLANs with a single command. You can also use this command to apply a set of configurations on a
group of interfaces.

Syntax
interface group [interface | vlan vlanid {- vlanid } ]
To delete a range of VLANs, use the following command:
no interface group vlan vlanid {- vlanid}
Parameters
interface,
interface,...
Enter the keywords interface group and one of the interfaces — slot/port or
VLAN number. Select the range of interfaces for bulk configuration. Spaces are
not required between the commas. Comma-separated ranges can include VLANs
and physical interfaces.
Enter the member VLANs using VLAN IDs (separated by commas), a range of
VLAN IDs (separated by a hyphen), a single VLAN ID, or a combination. For
example: VLAN IDs (comma-separated): 3, 4, 6. Range (hyphen-separated): 5-10.
Slot/Port information need not contain a space before and after the dash. For
example, both of the following commands are valid: interface group
tengigabitethernet 1/1 - 5; interface group tengigabitethernet
1/1-5.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet
then the slot/port information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
• For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.

Usage Information
The interface group command will create all the non-existent VLANs specified in the range. On
successful command execution, the CLI switches to the interface group context.
