To enable RIP debugging, use the following command in the EXEC privilege mode:
Figure 39-6 shows the confirmation when the debug function is enabled.

To disable RIP, use the no debug ip rip command.
RIP Configuration Example
The example in this section shows the command sequence to configure RIPv2 on the two routers shown in
Figure 39-7 — “Core 2” and “Core 3”. The host prompts used in the example screenshots reflect those
