peer-link port-channel
Congure the specied port channel as the chassis interconnect trunk between VLT peers in the domain.
Syntax
peer-link port-channel port-channel-number {peer-down-vlan vlan id}
Parameters
port-channel-
number
Enter the port-channel number that acts as the interconnect trunk. The range is 
from 1 to 128.
peer-down-vlan 
vlan id
Enter the keyword peer-down-vlan then a VLAN ID to congure the VLAN 
that the VLT peer link uses when the VLT peer is down.
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information To congure the VLAN from where the VLT peer forwards packets received over the VLTi from an adjacent 
VLT peer that is down, use the peer-down-vlan parameter. When a VLT peer with bare metal provisioning 
(BMP) is booting up, it sends untagged DHCP discover packets to its peer over the VLTi. To ensure that the 
DHCP discover packets are forwarded to the VLAN that has the DHCP server, use this conguration.
