deny
To drop packets meeting the criteria specied, congure a lter.
Syntax
deny ip-prefix [ge min-prefix-length] [le max-prefix-length]
To delete a drop lter, use the no deny ip-prefix command.
Parameters
ip-prex Specify an IP prex in the network/length format. For example, 35.0.0.0/ 8 means
match the rst 8 bits of address 35.0.0.0.
ge min-prex-
length
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ge and then enter the minimum prex length,
which is a number from zero (0) to 32.
le max-prex-length (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword le and then enter the maximum prex length,
which is a number from zero (0) to 32.
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information
Sequence numbers for this lter are automatically assigned starting at sequence number 5.
If you do not use the ge or le options, only packets with an exact match to the prex are ltered.
ip prex-list
Enter the PREFIX-LIST mode and congure a prex list.
Syntax
ip prefix-list prefix-name
To delete a prex list, use the no ip prefix-list prefix-name command.
