Set the delay time for VRRP initialization after a system reboot.
Syntax
vrrp delay reload seconds
Parameters
seconds Enter the number of seconds for the delay. The range is from 0 to 900 (0 indicates
no delay).

Usage Information
This command applies to all the VRRP congured interfaces on a system. When used with the vrrp
delay minimum CLI, the later timer rules the VRRP enabling. For example, if vrrp delay reload is
600 and the
vrrp delay minimum is 300:
• When the system reloads, VRRP waits 600 seconds (10 minutes) to bring up VRRP on all interfaces that
are up and congured for VRRP.
• When an interface comes up, whether as part of a system reload or an interface reload, the system waits
300 seconds (5 minutes) to bring up VRRP on that interface.
Save the conguration and reload the system for the delay timers to take eect.

vrrp-group
Assign a VRRP ID to an interface. You can congure up to 12 VRRP groups per interface.
Syntax
vrrp-group vrrp-id
Parameters
vrrp-id Enter a number as the group ID. The range is from 1 to 255.
