snmp-server enable traps
Enable SNMP traps.
Syntax
snmp-server enable traps [notification-type] [notification-option]
To disable traps, use the no snmp-server enable traps [notification-type] [notification-
option] command.
Parameters
notification-type
Enter the type of notification from the following list:
• bgp — Enable BGP state change traps.
• config — Enable copy-config trap.
• ecfm — Enable ECFM state change traps.
• ecmp — Enable ECMP traps.
• entity — Enable entity change traps.
• envmon — Enable SNMP environmental monitor traps.
• ets — Enable ETS traps.
• fips — Enable FIP Snooping state change traps.
• isis — Enable ISIS adjacency change traps.
• lacp — Enable LACP state change traps.
• mac — Enable MAC address notification traps.
• pfc — Enable PFC traps.
• snmp — Enable SNMP traps.
• stack — Enable stacking role change traps.
• stp — Enable 802.1d state change traps.
• vlt — Enable VLT traps.
• vrrp — Enable VRRP state change traps.
• xstp — Enable 802.1s, 802.1w, and PVST+ state change traps.
notification-option
For the envmon notification-type, enter one of the following optional parameters:
• cam-utilization
• fan
• supply
• temperature
For the snmp notification-type, enter one of the following optional parameters:
• authentication
• coldstart
• linkdown
• linkup
• syslog-reachable
• syslog-unreachable
