mac
Congure a list of supplicant MAC addresses for dot1x prole represented with a prole-name.
Syntax
[no] mac {mac-address1 mac-address2… mac-address6}
Parameters

Enter the keyword mac and type the 48– bit MAC addresses using the H.H.H format. A
maximum of 6 MAC addresses are allowed.

Usage Information
The mac command congures a list of supplicant MAC addresses for a dot1x prole represented with a prole-
name. You can congure up to 6 MAC addresses in a single mac command. The maximum number of MAC
addresses that you can congure in a single prole is limited to 100.
Use this command in Conguration Terminal Batch mode to congure a list of supplicant MAC addresses for dot1x
prole in a dual-homing setup.

Enable MAC authentication bypass. If 802.1X times out because the host did not respond to the Identity Request frame, Dell Networking
OS attempts to authenticate the host based on its MAC address.
