• device-role — specify the role of the device attached to the port.
• hop-limit — enable the verication of the advertised hop count limit.
• mtu — set the maximum transmission unit (MTU) value.

show ipv6 neighbors
Display IPv6 discovery information. Entering the command without options shows all IPv6 neighbor addresses stored on the control
processor (CP).
Syntax
show ipv6 neighbors [vrf vrf-name] [ipv6-address| interface interface]
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf and the name of the VRF to display the neighbors
corresponding to that VRF.
NOTE: If you do not specify this option, neighbors corresponding to the
default VRF are displayed.
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address of the neighbor in the x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zero.
interface interface Enter the keyword interface then the interface type and slot/port or number
information:
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then
the slot/port
/subport information.
•
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the slot/
port information.
• For a Management interface, enter the keyword managementethernet followed by
slot/port numbers.
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel followed by a number.
• For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number.
• For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
