Disabling Syslog Messages for SNMP Authentication
Failure Events
The system generates syslog messages for SNMP authentication events. Over time, these messages can ll up the syslog le on the
system, making analyzing system logs a cumbersome task. You can disable syslog messages for SNMP authentication failure events on the
system. To disable these messages, follow this procedure:
• Disable syslog messages for SNMP authentication failure events.
CONFIGURATION mode
logging disable-syslog snmp auth-failure
NOTE: This command does not disable SNMP traps for SNMP authentication failure events.
