Writing Managed Object Values
You may only alter (write) a managed object value if your management station is a member of the same community as the SNMP agent,
and the object is writable.
Use the following command to write or write-over the value of a managed object.

Conguring Contact and Location Information using
SNMP
You may congure system contact and location information from the Dell EMC Networking system or from the management station using
SNMP.
To congure system contact and location information from the Dell EMC Networking system and from the management station using
SNMP, use the following commands.
(From a Dell EMC Networking system) Identify the system manager along with this person’s contact information (for example, an email
address or phone number).
CONFIGURATION mode

You may use up to 55 characters.
The default is None.
(From a Dell EMC Networking system) Identify the physical location of the system (for example, San Jose, 350 Holger Way, 1st oor
lab, rack A1-1).
