show ip bgp
View the current BGP IPv4 routing table for the system.
Syntax
show ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [ipv4 unicast] [network [network-mask] [longer-
prefixes]]
Parameters
ipv4 unicast
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords ipv4 unicast to view information only related
to ipv4 unicast routes.
network
(OPTIONAL) Enter the network address (in dotted decimal format) of the BGP
network to view information only on that network.
network-mask
(OPTIONAL) Enter the network mask (in slash prefix format) of the BGP network
address.
longer-prefixes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords longer-prefixes to view all routes with a
common prefix.

Usage
Information
When you enable the bgp non-deterministic-med command, the show ip bgp command output
for a BGP route does not list the INACTIVE reason.
In BGP, this command displays the exact reason why the route is discarded.
The following describes the show ip bgp command shown in the following example.
