FIP Snooping
In a converged Ethernet network, a switch can operate as an intermediate Ethernet bridge to snoop on FIP packets during the
login process on Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) forwarders (FCFs). Acting as a transit FIP snooping bridge, the switch
uses dynamically created access control lists (ACLs) to permit only authorized FCoE traffic to transmit between an FCoE end-
device and an FCF.

clear fip-snooping database interface vlan
Clear FIP snooping information on a VLAN for a specified FCoE MAC address, ENode MAC address, or FCF MAC address, and
remove the corresponding ACLs FIP snooping generates.
Syntax
clear fip-snooping database interface vlan {vlan-id} enode {enode-mac-
address} | fcf {fcf-mac-address} | session {session-mac-address}
Parameters
enode-mac-
address
Enter the ENode MAC address of the session which has to be cleared.
fcf-mac-address
Enter the FCF MAC address of the session which has to be cleared.
session-mac-
address
Enter the MAC address of the session which has to be cleared.
